STOPCOR CLASSIC WITH MAGNESIUM ANODE
The autonomous STOPCOR device with magnesium anode provides cathodic protection on any metal surface predisposed to present corrosion due to electrolysis.
STOPCOR's philosophy was based on the possibility of applying a sacrificial anode but with the method of imposed voltage.
During the method of cathodic protection with STOPCOR we impose current which comes from the sacrificial anode by negatively charging the installation we want to protect. In this way, while before the installation was the rise of a galvanic cell (negative oxidation pole), an electrolytic cell descent (negative reducing pole) takes place. This means that the installation is still negatively charged as before the protection was applied but the action is reversed and it is prone to reduction rather than oxidation.
STOPCOR replaces all previous protection methods and has the following advantages.
1. It is easily installed, externally, without coming into contact with water. Consequently, it does not pollute it, it does not create residues that clog the facilities and destroy the circulators and the components of the networks. There are no alterations in the liquids circulating in the installations. Protects pipelines where drinking water circulates.
2. No special technical knowledge is required for installation, no need to unseal boilers, boilers, tanks or other network with known sealing problems.
3. It has excellent results because the voltage imposed is absolutely continuous and stable because it is obtained naturally from magnesium.
4. It has a longer range, because it protects by imposing voltage on the installation.
5. Its good operation can be checked with a simple multimeter.
6. It is economical.
7. It is recyclable and completely safe for the environment.
Each device has a lifespan of about 3 years depending on each case. Replacement is required after this time.
